Neve Adrianne Campbell is a Canadian actress and producer. Following a series of guest appearances, she first received recognition for starring in the Canadian drama series Catwalk (1992–1994) and the family television film The Canterville Ghost (1996). Campbell had her breakthrough as Julia Salinger in the Fox teen drama series Party of Five (1994–2000). After a starring role in the supernatural horror film The Craft (1996), she rose to international prominence for starring as Sidney Prescott in the slasher film franchise Scream (1996–present), which earned her several accolades, including a Saturn Award and an MTV Award; both roles helped establish her as a scream queen.
