Stella Artois is a Belgian pilsner of between 4.6 and 5.2 per cent ABV which was first brewed in 1926 by Dutch: Brouwerij Artois in Leuven, Belgium. Since 2008, a 4.8 per cent ABV version has also been sold in Britain, Ireland, Canada and Australia. In the United States, as of 2009, Stella Artois is imported and distributed by Anheuser-Busch. As of 2016, Stella Artois is owned by Interbrew International B.V. which is a subsidiary of the world's largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch InBev SA/NV.
