A blini pl., diminutive: млинчики, mlynchiki) or, sometimes, blin, is a Russian pancake traditionally made from wheat or buckwheat flour and served with smetana, tvorog, butter, caviar and other garnishes. Blini are among the most popular and most-eaten dishes in Russia.
