Dominic Bernard Patrick Luke Monaghan is a British actor. He is most well known for playing Meriadoc "Merry" Brandybuck in Peter Jackson's fantasy epic film trilogy The Lord of the Rings (2001–2003) based on the novel of the same name by J.R.R Tolkien, and is also known for his role of Charlie Pace on the supernatural television show Lost (2004–2010).
